Thursday 10th The interpretations and compositions of Habib Elias travel through the styles of jazz, chanson and pop, using as a dialogue not only the different styles of music, as well as the inherent characteristics of the languages in which he sings.

Friday 11th Andy Jones is an innovative musician promising a highly enjoyable line up of classic jazz with a twist of contemporary blues.

Unfortunately, we don’t have room for them to dance but they will be demonstrating Chinese calligraphy and you can see the exquisite traditional costumes.

At Mr Wing, in the month of November, we want to warm you up for lunch. So tuck in to a bowl of piping hot soup that will warm you right to your toes! For extra “heat” opt for the spicy broth that is Sichuan Hot and Sour soup, or the Thai signature dish, Tom Yum Soup with Prawns to start your meal. For less zing, enjoy the classic Wan Ton Soup with Shrimp; or Crabmeat or Chicken with Sweetcorn soup..All soups are at a special Autumn price of £2.00 for lunch, for the whole of November.

Mr Wing’s charity dinner for Family Friends last Wednesday 12/10 was a resounding success! As Chef and his team wokked up the very best of Mr Wing’s cuisine, service staff were busy ensuring wine glasses were topped up and guests were enjoying their meal.  In the background, resident pianist Andy Jones was working his magic on the keyboards with his repertoire of jazz pieces.  Andy generously gave up his Wednesday night to provide the entertainment for our 73 guests.
