Mr Wing’s charity dinner for Family Friends last Wednesday 12/10 was a resounding success! As Chef and his team wokked up the very best of Mr Wing’s cuisine, service staff were busy ensuring wine glasses were topped up and guests were enjoying their meal.  In the background, resident pianist Andy Jones was working his magic on the keyboards with his repertoire of jazz pieces.  Andy generously gave up his Wednesday night to provide the entertainment for our 73 guests.

Mr Wing is celebrating its 25th anniversary year with a fundraising dinner on 12th October, 2011,  for Family Friends.

Family Friends, set up in 1993 to support disadvantaged families in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham helps around 110 families a year, through their 105 volunteers. The charity aims to help families in deprived areas, help themselves through befriending and mentoring, as some may struggle in their role as parents.

The management and staff of Mr Wing greatly admire the work that Family Friends does in the community and will be hosting a charity dinner for Family Friends on Wednesday 12 October.
